ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (21-8, 12-5 C-USA)
LA Tech had its second largest comeback of the season in its 67-54 victory over Old Dominion. The Bulldogs trailed by as much as 11 in the first half, but a 9-0 run to get to within two at halftime and then a 42-point outburst in the second half resulted in the team's 13th home win of the season.

Cobe Williams finished with a game-high 19 points while tying his career high with five made three-pointers.  The point guard is averaging 15.5 points over the last six games.  Meanwhile,
Keaston Willis added 12 points and has now scored in double figures in 11 of the last 13 games.
Amorie Archibald was the third Bulldog in double figures with 18 points.

LA Tech's defense has been stellar as of late. Over the last five games, the Bulldogs are holding opponents to just 40.1 percent shooting from the field and 27.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

With the victory over the Monarchs, the Bulldogs reached 12 Conference USA wins for the third straight year and the seventh time in their nine seasons in the league, which is the most of any C-USA teams during that span (Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion each have done it five times).

ABOUT UAB (23-7, 13-4 C-USA)
UAB enters Saturday winners of its last three games, all coming on the road against UTSA, UTEP and Southern Miss.  They have been especially hard to beat at home, compiling a 15-1 record inside Bartow Arena.

The Blazers have the No. 1 scoring offense in the league, averaging 79.7 points per game, while also being ranked first in offensive efficiency.  They also rank top 10 in the country in steals per game (9.9) and turnover margin (5.5).

They are anchored by Jordan Walker who is averaging 19.2 points per game (averaging a league-best 21.5 points during conference play).  He has scored 20+ points in 11 of their 17 conference games and has made 96 three-pointers this season, which ranks 13th in the country.  Quan Jackson is second on the team in scoring at 11.6 points and ranks fifth in the nation in total steals with 73.

THE SERIES
LA Tech and UAB are tied 9-9 in the series.  The Bulldogs had won five straight until the Blazers won, 83-76, earlier this season in Ruston.  LA Tech is 2-7 all-time in Bartow Arena, having won there in 2014 and the previous meeting in 2020.
