RUSTON – The Louisiana Tech softball team will have fall exhibitions on seven dates throughout Oct. and Nov., head coach
Josh Taylor announced today.
The Lady Techsters will open their fall slate with a trip to Fayetteville, Ark., Oct. 8-9, where they will take on Arkansas and other teams in a round-robin format. The times and other opponents for those dates have yet to be announced. Arkansas has won back-to-back SEC Regular season titles and made consecutive NCAA Super Regional appearances in 2021 and 2022.
LA Tech will be back home on Oct.12 when they host Grambling State for a 6 p.m. tilt at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. Following Grambling is a road contest at ULM on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. LA Tech closes its fall slate with a three-game homestand with LSUE (Oct. 23, 3 p.m.), Southern (Oct. 28, 6 p.m.) and ULM (Nov. 1, 6 p.m.)
The Lady Techsters are coming off an impressive 39-20 campaign that culminated in a Conference USA Championship, with Taylor garnering C-USA Coach of the Year honors in his first season at the helm.

Sierra Sacco (OF) headlines the Techsters returnees. Sacco batted .441 and set the single-season hits record with 83 hits, including seven doubles and three triples. LA Tech returns three all-conference selections in Sacco (First-Team), infielder Amanda Gonzales (First-Team) and outfielder
