BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (3-9-3, 0-3-2) come up short against Western Kentucky (4-3-7, 2-1-2). The Bulldogs would fall 1-0 to the Hilltoppers on Thursday night.Â
Western Kentucky would strike its first and only goal in the 14th minute from Katie Erwin assisted by Ambere Barnett. The Hilltoppers would outshoot the Bulldogs 6-2 in the first period. Louisiana Tech only had one corner-kick attempt in the first period.
In the second period, the Bulldogs would ramp up the attacking play on the pitch. Louisiana Tech would outshoot Western Kentucky 10-4 in the second period. The Bulldogs had one more corner attempt than the Hilltoppers. Junior
