RUSTON – Louisiana Tech's Grace Krohn was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team, announced by the league on Thursday.
 
Krohn has been a staple in the Bulldog's 6-2 lineup this season and helped guide LA Tech to the No. 7 seed in the CUSA Tournament.
 
The freshman setter has played in 27 of 28 matches for the Bulldogs this season and has recorded 17 contests with 10+ assists. She has nine matches with 15+ assists and four with 20+.
 
Krohn had her most successful weekend of the season at the LA Tech Invitational, with 70 assists over the three matches. She opened the weekend with a career-high 25 against Little Rock and followed that with 24 against Grambling and 21 against Lamar.
 
The Cypress, Texas native has 357 assists, 127 digs, and 27 aces this season. Krohn is the first true freshman Bulldog with 300+ assists in a season since 2018.
