RUSTON | The Louisiana Tech women's basketball plays their regular-season home finale Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court against No. 25 Middle Tennessee. There will be a post-game ceremony to honor this year's senior class. In addition, fans are encouraged to use the promo code YOUTH to get a $2 general admission ticket for kids who are encouraged to wear their youth team jerseys to the game.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (17-10, 10-7 C-USA)
Louisiana Tech extended its longest win streak of the season to five games with a 70-65 win over WKU at home Thursday, giving them back-to-back seasons with double-digit conference wins. Tech won the rebounding battle over WKU to move them to 11-0 on the season when doing so, and they moved to 10-1 when scoring 70 or more points.
Gabbie Green scored a season-high 14 points on four threes and surpassed 1,300 career points, including her time at South Plains CC and Pittsburgh.
Keiunna Walker passed Tori Harrison on the all-time scoring list with 1,873, sitting at No. 8. Walker also moved ahead of Janice Lawrence for second on the all-time list in made free throws. Her 17.4 PPG ranks second in Conference USA and she has scored double figures in 21 straight games. Walker has also grabbed six or more boards in five consecutive games, including nine-plus in her last three, while drawing four charges in her previous two outings.
Anna Larr Roberson also moved up on the all-time scoring list, pouring in a game-high 18 points to move passed Shan Moore for No. 35 with 1,189 career points.
Lotte Sant is shooting 52.6 percent from three (41-78) in conference play this season and moved past Debra Williams for No. 6 on the all-time makes list with 138. She is five makes away from the single-season top-10 list.
LA Tech's bench has reached double figures 25 times this season and has used nine players in a starting role this season and used five different starting fives.
LA Tech is currently No. 2 in Conference USA in field goal percentage (.447), free throw (.769), defensive defensive field goal percentage (.385), and scoring defense (60.8 PPG). In addition, Tech leads the conference in three-point percentage (.338) and ranks third in assists (360) and assists per game (13.3).
The Techsters will face their first top-25 opponent since the 2020-21 season and their ninth-ranked foe in the last ten seasons.
ABOUT NO. 25 MIDDLE TENNESSEE (22-4, 15-2 C-USA)
The Blue Raiders have been one of the best teams in the country this season, at one point winning 16 straight, to find their way into the NCAA's top-25.
After an 11-0 start to conference play, MTSU dropped a pair of Texas road games at UTEP (62-65) and UTSA (53-58). Since then, the Blue Raiders have rattled off four straight coming into Ruston.
The Blue Raider boast the league's No. 1 offense (74.0 PPG) and defense (56.0 PPG) and is led by a balanced scoring attack of four players in double figures, including three C-USA Preseason All-Conference selections, in Kseniya Malashka, Savannah Wheeler, and Courtney Whitson.
Malashka, last year's C-USA Sixth Player of the Year, is averaging 15.0 PPG. A transfer from Marshall, Wheeler earned first-team C-USA honors playing for the Thundering Herd last season. Wheeler is scoring a team-best 16.3 per contest this season.
Whitson (10.8 PPG) was a second-team selection last season, while Jalynn Gregory (13.0 PPG) earned All-Freshman honors along with 6-6 center Anastasiia Boldyreva.
THE SERIES
Thursday's matchup with be the 17th overall matchup between LA Tech and Middle Tennessee.
Middle Tennessee holds a two-game advantage in the overall series (9-7), but LA Tech has a 4-3 edge in Ruston.
LA Tech won the first four matchups, which began in 1982-93. Middle Tennessee followed suit with six straight from 2013 to 2017.
Tech and Middle Tennessee have split the last six, alternating wins, with MTSU taking the season's first matchup in Murfreesboro, 68-50.
Only two games (the last two meetings) have been decided by less than 11 points.
