The Jaguar Invitational will begin on the track at 9:30 a.m., beginning with the women's invitational 5K, followed by the men's 5K at 9:50 a.m. Sprints will start with the 400m at 1 p.m., followed by the 60m timed finals at 2 p.m., and the 60m H timed finals at 2:30 p.m. Mid distance will start after hurdles, followed by the 200m, 3K, and relays.Â

The field events begin at 11 a.m. with the women's and men's shot put. Men's and women's long jump will start 15 minutes later, followed by the women's high jump at noon. Finally, men's and women's triple jump (3:15 p.m.) and men's high jump (4 p.m.) will round out the day's field events.Â

LA Tech will have 33 total athletes (15 male, 18 female) competing in a combined 24Â events and will see one fellow Conference USA mate in Middle Tennessee.Â

Tech has set 33 combined PRs through three weeks of its indoor season and has shined in the men's and women's sprints. The men's 60m event group, made of
Rodney Heath Jr.,
Marshall Ellis,
Gerard Sapena, and
Devin Walton, ranks as the No. 19 group in the nation by the USTFCCCA with an average time of 6.77.Â

At the Texas Tech Open last week, Heath Jr. took third place in the men's 60m, setting two PRs of 6.77 and 6.64, which rank as the top-two times in program history and the 25
th fastest time in the NCAA this season. In the women's 60m,
Ulanda Lewis posted back-to-back PRs of 7.49 in the qualifying and first-round finals.Â

Two weeks ago, Tech visited the CrossPlex in Birmingham and dominated the KMS invitational winning eight events, grabbing 18 podiums, and registering 14 PRs.Â
