Seattle, Wash. –Louisiana Tech tight end
Griffin Hebert has signed a free-agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks.
Hebert, a 6-3, 239-pound tight end, appeared in 56 games while making 30 starts during his time as a Bulldog, tallying 99 receptions for 1,532 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The Lafayette, La., product, hauled in 23 receptions, totaling 431 yards and two touchdowns in 2022. Hebert had three receptions for 93 yards in the season opener at Missouri on Sept. 1, including the Bulldogs' first touchdown of the season when he found the end zone on a 75-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. He had a career-high 122 receiving yards at No. 4 Clemson, which was the most by an opposing non-conference player at Clemson since Deebo Samuel's 210 receiving yards on Nov. 24, 2018.
