Ruston, La. – Louisiana Tech offensive lineman
Joshua Mote has been invited to minicamp by the Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.
Mote, a 6-2 307-pound offensive lineman, appeared in 50 games while making over 35 starts during his Louisiana Tech career.
During his time in Ruston, Mote was a standout on the Bulldogs' offensive line, garnering All-Conference USA Honorable Mention selections in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Mote helped anchor an offensive line that played a large role in the Bulldogs' passing offense, which ranked 32nd nationally at 267.2 yards a contest in 2022. He had PFF pass-blocking grades of over 80 in six games last season and paved the way for seven 100-plus-yard rushing games.
The Oak Grove, La., product also excelled in the classroom and off the field. Mote was a nominee for the Wuerffel Trophy in 2022 and has been named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll five times. He also received the C-USA Spirit of Service Award in 2020.
