Captains Avery Kyle and Emma Jones had shot attempts in the second half but could not get them in the back of the net.

Cadence Rutledge had her fourth game in a row with five saves.

"They had opportunities, and they took advantage of them, and we had the same opportunities and didn't take advantage of them. The effort and competitiveness of our squad were impressive and we put our best effort forward. We just have to find a way to reward our efforts," Voltz said.
