RUSTON – Louisiana Tech made quick work against Grambling State, claiming a 6-0 shutout victory on Thursday afternoon at the LA Tech Tennis Complex.

Tiffani Nash delivered wins of 6-0 and 6-1 on courts one and two, respectively.

After securing the doubles point, the Bulldogs won all five singles courts versus GSU (0-7). Romero made it 2-0 in favor of LA Tech by winning all 12 games in a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Leah Bryant at the No. 5 position. In doing so, she extended her dual singles winning streak to eight matches.

Nash did the same thing, going perfect with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Jovana Latinovich at the No. 3 spot to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 advantage. The clinching point came from court two where Vasquez overpowered Ekaterina Dziova by a score of 6-0, 6-1.

Just like Romero, Bienzobas also continued her singles winning streak, making it eight straight with a 6-0, 6-2 victory versus Claire Machisa at the top position. The final point came from
Zoie Epps on court four who outdueled Taku Mawisire 6-3, 6-0.

- Tiffani Nash won her third straight singles match, improving to 7-3. The senior also improved to 5-0 all-time playing at the No. 3 spot.
- Valentina Vasquez won her first career match as a Bulldog at the No. 2 position in singles.
- Zoie Epps improved to 2-0 this season playing at the No. 4 spot in singles.Â
