RUSTON – Louisiana Tech will celebrate senior day when New Mexico State comes to the Thomas Assembly Center on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
The Lady Techsters will recognize managers Olivia Cheatham and Parker Brown, as well as Kate Thompson, Salma Bates, Robyn Lee, and Anna Larr Roberson at the conclusion of the game.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (10-17, 4-8)
The Louisiana Tech offense came alive during an 85-69 win over UTEP on Thursday night in the Thomas Assembly Center.
Anna Larr Roberson led the way with 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting. The senior forward grabbed her 900th rebound, making her just the 13th Lady Techster with 1,500 points and 900 rebounds. Roberson continues to move up on the all-time scoring list and sits in 20th with 1,582 points.
Salma Bates chipped in 17 points and six assists while committing zero turnovers in 35 minutes of action. For the season, Bates is second on the team with 10.7 points and 2.5 assists per game.
Jianna Morris had eight of her 10 points in the final 11 minutes of the game, including a 3-pointer from 40 feet out as time expired in the third quarter. Morris is second among freshmen in CUSA with 6.9 points per game and leads all freshmen with 2.4 assists a contest.
Tech continues to have one of their best seasons from long range. The Techsters have knocked down 167 3-pointers on the year and are on pace to break the school's single-season record of 186 set during the 2019-20 season.
ABOUT NEW MEXICO STATE (11-14, 5-7)
New Mexico State stands just one game ahead of LA Tech in the CUSA standings after falling to Sam Houston on Thursday. The Aggies used a big third quarter to fight their way back into the contest before falling 66-56 in overtime. NM State is just 2-9 on the road and 1-5 during CUSA play.
NM State has four players averaging over 7.0 points a game. Molly Kaiser leads the way with 14.5, sixth in the conference. Kaiser has had six straight double-figure scoring games and has reached at least eight points in every CUSA contest this season.
Jaila Harding (9.8), Tylie Jones (8.3), and Ene Adams (7.4) are the other top point-getters for the Aggies.
NMSU is one of the top defensive teams in the country. The Aggies give up 60.8 ppg (97th nationally), force 18.6 turnovers per game (63rd nationally), and allow their opponents to just 28.5 percent from behind the arc (66th nationally).
THE SERIES
LA Tech holds a 16-5 advantage in the all-time series, but New Mexico State has won the previous three meetings.
