RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech travels down to Natchitoches to face Northwestern State for a Tuesday midweek matchup. The Bulldogs then come back home to take on UL-Lafayette on Wednesday at the Love Shack.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (13-3)
Tech picked up an 18-11 victory on Sunday over Southern Miss. The Bulldogs dropped Friday's and Saturday's game against the Golden Eagles. Tech had 14 walks against Southern Miss. on Sunday the last time Tech had ten plus walks in a game was against ULL on April 5, 2022. Tech scored 18 runs on Sunday, which hasn't happened for the Bulldogs since Middle Tennessee last year.
ABOUT NORTHWESTERN STATE (4-12)
The Demons are 4-12 on the season, with wins against Troy, Stony Brook, and Northern Illinois. Northwestern State picked up wins against Troy on Friday and Saturday. Northwestern State earned a 5-3 victory over Troy on Friday. On Saturday, the Demons scored six runs with nine hits and one error to beat Troy, while the Trojans notched three runs and three hits with two errors.
ABOUT UL-LAFAYETTE(8-7)
The Ragin Cajuns coming off a series win against Tulane, which they picked a victory on Saturday and Sunday. ULL's 5-4 victory over the Green Wave on Saturday went into extra innings. ULL secured a walk-off win against Tulane on Sunday, in which they scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to win 4-3.
THE SERIES
Louisiana Tech are 83-54 in the all-time series against Northwestern State. The Demons won the previous matchup last year in the Love Shack by a score of 10-7 in 11 innings. The Bulldogs are 58-70 against ULL all-time in the in-state matchup. Tech won 12-8 against the Ragin' Cajuns in the last matchup in 2023.
