Bulldogs will be part of a 12-team field
RUSTON – Louisiana Tech makes its first trip to the Lone Star State this weekend to take part in the Aggie Invitational hosted by Texas A&M.

Dates: Saturday-Sunday, April 6-7
Location: Traditions Club (Bryan-College Station, Texas)
Yardage: Par 72 | 7227 yards
Stroke Play: 3 rounds/54 holes (36 on Saturday, 18 on Sunday)
Participants: 12 teams

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech is coming off a 13th-place finish at the Linger Longer Invitational in Eatonton, Georgia. The Bulldogs combined for 41 birdies/eagles at the event, tied for the fourth most this season.
Lake Juban had his 2nd-best finish of the season, tying for 34th as an individual. He was the top Bulldog finisher, shooting 70-73-74=217, while averaging a 2.75 (-3) on the Par 3s which tied for first among the entire field.
The graduate senior will be joined in the lineup by two-time CUSA Golfer of the Week Niilo Maki-Petaja who continues to pace the team in stroke average at 72.46. The freshman has two top-5 finishes this season and a team-high 13 rounds at or under par.
Senior Will Patrick will be participating in his eighth event, having registered a stroke average of 74.90 this season. His best finish as an individual came back in October at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational when he tied for 23rd.
Graduate senior Hunter Battles will also be taking part in his eighth event, having posted seven rounds at or under par with a stroke average of 73.29 which has included two top-20 finishes. Rounding out the team lineup will be sophomore Riley Hnatyshyn who will be making his first appearance of the spring.
Senior Thomas Henson will be playing as an individual. He has participated in the last three events, including a tied for 21st at the Hal Williams Collegiate.
