Taylor Adds to Roster with Signing of Addison Snyder

RUSTON – Louisiana Tech head coach Josh Taylor announced the signing of Addison Snyder, who will be joining the Bulldog softball program after transferring from Cal State Fullerton.

"We are excited to welcome Addison to the Louisiana Tech softball family," Taylor said. "As soon as she stepped on campus, we knew she was going to be a tremendous fit in Ruston. She has pop in her bat and a high softball IQ that will allow her to compete at a very high level."

Snyder appeared in nine games as a freshman in 2024, playing her part in the Titans 39-19 season, culminating in an NCAA Regional Final appearance.

The California native has posted a .390 batting average with 16 hits, two doubles, 13 RBI and five runs scored in 41 at bats while playing for the Myakka City RiverMocs in the prestigious Florida Gulf Coast Softball league. As a result of her efforts, Snyder was selected to play in the 2024 FGCL All-Star Game.

"LA Tech is the perfect place to continue my softball career because of the exceptional atmosphere, facilities, and coaching staff," Snyder said. "This creates an ideal setting for my growth and success in the sport. I am confident and excited in my decision to pursue my athletic career at LA Tech."

A native of Castaic, Calif., Snyder prepped at Valencia High School. As a senior, Snyder earned All-CIF honors after batting .430 with nine home runs and 33 RBI, helping lead the Vikings to a Foothill League Championship. In addition to prepping at Valencia High School, she played travel ball with I-5 Softball out of Santa Clarita, Calif.
