RUSTON — The Louisiana Tech women's basketball team will look to pick up their first Conference USA road win when the Lady Techsters take on Western Kentucky at E.A. Diddle Arena on Thursday at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN+.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (11-6, 4-2)
Louisiana Tech will be playing in a third Education Day game at WKU. The Lady Techsters defeated Nicholls 53-51 at home to open the season and followed that with a 78-70 win over South Alabama for their second game. The three Education Day games are the third most in the country this season, only behind Winthrop with four and Tarleton with five.
LA Tech is coming off a weekend sweep of Jacksonville State, 80-73, and Kennesaw State, 83-71. Paris Bradley led the way with 33 points and 11 rebounds to earn her fourth consecutive CUSA Freshman of the Week honors. Robyn Lee extended her double-figure scoring streak to eight games with 15- and 16-point performances while adding nine rebounds and four assists.
Bradley has seen her average rise 4.4 ppg over the past 11 games. Since the Baylor game on December 1, the 5-9 guard has scored in double figures in nine contests, including two 20-point performances. The Carrollton, Texas native is second on the team with 11.6 points per game, leading the Lady Techsters with 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals a contest. She currently ranks No. 6 in CUSA in assists, No. 14 in steals, and No. 16 in points per game.
During Lee's eight-game stretch, she saw her shooting percentage rise from 42.6 to 48.0 percent, ranking fourth in the league. The grad student has also increased her scoring by 2.5 points a game and is ninth in CUSA with a 13.4 average.
Averi Aaron has been a significant factor in the paint for the Lady Techsters over the past three games. The 6-1 forward set a career-high 13 points against Kennesaw State while grabbing five rebounds. Over the past three games, Aaron has scored 24 points, grabbed 17 boards, dished out seven assists, and has three blocks.
ABOUT WKU (12-5, 3-2)
WKU has won three straight CUSA contests after dropping the first two of the season. The Lady Toppers are coming off a 63-58 win over preseason favorite Middle Tennessee. The win snapped the Blue Raiders' 33 CUSA regular season winning streak.
The Lady Toppers are one of the best in the country at forcing teams into turnovers. WKU ranks 24th with 21.59 turnovers forced per game and has three of the top 10 in the conference in steals per game. Josie Gilvin and Alexis Mead are second in CUSA with 2.82 steals a contest, and Acacia Hayes is seventh at 2.25.
Mead leads WKU with 13.0 points and 3.9 assists a game. The preseason All-CUSA member has scored in double figures in all but four games this season, with three 20-point performances. The senior also leads CUSA in free throw percentage (86.0) and assists-to-turnover ratio (1.65), ranking fourth in assists per game.
Destiny Salary, Hayes, and Gilvin are the other WKU players averaging double figures. Salary averages 12.5, Hayes is 12.2, and Gilvin is 10.3 points a contest.
Salary has three 20-point performances this season with two double-doubles. Hayes has 10 games in double figures with two 20-point games of her own. Gilvin continues the trend of Lady Toppers scoring 20 points with two of her own.
