RUSTON – Louisiana Tech continues its fall season this week as the Bulldogs travel to Auburn, Alabama to participate in the ITA Southern Regionals.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
Zoie Epps, Diana Starodubtseva, Maria Tsironi, and June Vigneron will make the trip to Auburn.  Epps is seeded No. 9 in the singles main draw as the junior has gotten her fall season off to a stellar start, reaching the qualifying draw of the ITA All-American Championships and winning Flight A at the ACU Invitational.
 
The remaining three Bulldogs will start regional action in the qualifying draw.  Starodubtseva, who is 2-4 in singles this fall, is seeded No. 9 in the qualifying draw and will face off against Cleanne Pickel of Alabama State in the opening round.  Tsironi, who reached the round of 16 of the main draw last season, will be matched up with Gabrielle Henderson of Alabama A&M.
 
Finally, Vigneron, who has gotten off to a strong start this fall by going 5-1 in singles, will take on Mariapaz Ospina of UAB to start her regional action.
 
LA Tech will have just one doubles pairing participating – Epps and Tsironi.  The duo collected victories over Abilene Christian and Texas State before falling in the Flight B finals at the ACU Invitational recently.  They will open up regionals against a pairing from Jacksonville State.
