ABOUT TULANE (7-4)
Tulane won its first four games of the season but have since gone 3-4 including a 93-67 loss to UC San Diego this past Saturday in the Jack Jones Classic played in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Green Wave, led by 7th-year head coach Ron Hunter, are 5-2 at home in the Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse this season.
Â
Tulane was picked to finish third in the AmerÂican Conference preseason poll behind only Memphis and South Florida. The Green Wave returned seven players from last year's squad that finished fourth in the AAC.
Â
They strive on getting to the foul line as much as possible. The Green Wave rank top 50 in the country in free throw percentage (76.6) and free throws made per game (19.0). They have made 20+ free throws four times this season, including a 30-for-30 effort against Texas State.

He has scored in double figures in 10 of the 11 games including a seaÂson-high 33 against Texas State (went 19-of- 19 from the charity stripe).
Â
THE SERIES
Despite being in-state, LA Tech and Tulane will meet for just the fifth time ever on the hardÂwood with the series tied at 2-2. Of the four matchups, two have come in New Orleans while the other two have been in Monroe and Baton Rouge as part of neuÂtral-site tournaments.
Â
The last meeting in 2014 was a league matchÂup as LA Tech faced Tulane in its first season in Conference USA. The Green Wave would leave for the American Conference the following year.
They will make their first ever trip to Ruston next season as part of a home-and-home.
