The Bulldogs look for a strong closeout to the indoor regular season before turning their attention to Conference USA Indoor Championships.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Louisiana Tech men's and women's track and field programs are gearing up for the final of their four regular-season indoor meets at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The meet begins Friday, February 14 and concludes Saturday, February 15.

The Bulldogs have shown steady improvement with their performances since their opening meet in January. Before their off week, senior Oscar Smith was named Conference USA's Men's Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 60-meter hurdles for the second time this season at the Stan Scott Invite & Multi.

His first victory came at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational, where he set the men's indoor program record at 7.74 seconds.
For the second consecutive week, Osaretin Joy Usenbor, Jamara Patterson, Jenaia Williams and Nia Wiley were placed among the top 20 on USTFCCCA's #EventSquad rankings that was released on February 4.

The men's 200 group made up of Devin Walton, Sabastian Bradley-Reed, Abdulraof Oriade Rashid and Valentino Rudolph were ranked 20th in the men's #EventSquad rankings. Rudolph and Bradley-Reed, along with Tim Rummelhagen and Laeden Tucker, were at 25th in the #EventSquad rankings for the 400.
