The Bulldogs head to Greensboro, Ga. for their ninth event of the season
RUSTON – For a second straight year, Louisiana Tech heads to the state of Georgia to take part in the Linger Longer Invitational hosted by Kennesaw State University.
EVENT INFORMATION
Dates: Sunday – Tuesday, March 16-18
Tee Time: 10:30 a.m. CT (Sunday shotgun start)
Location: The Landing Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee (Greensboro, Ga.)
Stroke Play: 3 rounds/54 holes (18 holes each day)
Yardage: 6,991 yards | Par 72
Participants: 16 teams | 95 players

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech returns to action less than a week after having competed in the 40th annual Louisiana Classics in Lafayette. The Bulldogs got off to a slow start in round one but climbed two spots in rounds two and three to finish in seventh for the event.
Niilo Maki-Petaja was the top Bulldog for the seventh time this season, tying for 14th after shooting 75-71-69=215 (-1). It was the fifth top-20 finish for the sophomore who has a team-best 70.54 stroke average and is ranked No. 239 in the country.
Morton Bailey will be participating in his eighth event. The freshman has a stroke average of 73.14 and recently tied for 28th at the Louisiana Classics, his second-best finish of the season behind an 18th-place finish in the fall.
Like Maki-Petaja, Oskari Schuvalow is in the lineup having competed in every event this season. The sophomore has a stroke average of 73.88 and is tied for the second-most rounds at or under par with nine, including a 72 (E) in round two at the Louisiana Classics this past week.
Returning to the lineup is Jake Plumb who last played in the Sea Best Invitational, which was the first event of the spring slate. He ranks second for LA Tech in stroke average at 72.56, having also recorded nine rounds at or under par including a 64 (-7) in the final event of the fall in Hawai'i.
Making his first appearance of the season will be Alejandro Sanchez. His lone action as a Bulldog came last season when he competed in the All-American Intercollegiate as an individual.
