RUSTON – Both the Bulldogs and Lady Techsters closed out the regular season with wins and will now head to Huntsville, Alabama with the brackets set for the 2025 Conference USA Basketball Championships at VBC Propst Arena.

The Bulldogs, following a decisive 76-58 victory over UTEP at home, earned the No. 6 seed and will take on No. 3 seed Middle Tennessee on Thursday, March 13 at 8 p.m. CT. It is the same scenario as last season when LA Tech swept MTSU during the regular season and then matched up with the Blue Raiders in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, the Lady Techsters, who picked up a 69-51 win over UTEP in El Paso, earned the No. 5 seed and will battle No. 4 seed New Mexico State on Thursday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m. CT. The two teams split the series during the regular season with each winning on their home court.
