RUSTON – It's July, which means college football award watch lists and all-conference preseason teams are being released by major sport outlets. Athlon Sports announced its 2025 Preseason All-Conference USA Team this week and it includes eight Bulldogs.
 
The Bulldogs placed two players on the First-Team, with tight end Eli Finley on the offensive side of the ball and linebacker Kolbe Fields on defense.
 
LA Tech had two defenders on the Second-Team Defense in linebacker Sifa Leota and cornerback Cedric Woods.
 
The Third-Team Offense boasted three Bulldogs including running back Omiri Wiggins, along with center Landon Nelson and tackle Hayden Christman.
 
Defensive back Jacob Fields rounds out the list as he was selected to the Fourth-Team Defense.
