LAFAYETTE, La. – June Vigneron went undefeated in singles as Louisiana Tech concluded its first fall tournament of the season Saturday at the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational.
 
The sophomore Vigneron started out the event with a dominating 6-0, 6-2 victory over ULL's Anicia Hammoud at the Cajun Courts.  The France native came back the next day and outdueled McNeese's Elena Morales 1-6, 6-3, 10-6 and North Alabama's Farah Asaad 6-4, 6-2.
 
Also producing singles wins were newcomer Diana Starodubtseva who cruised past Safia Zenbi (ULL) with a 6-1, 6-1 win.  Sophomore Alice Brook notched a 6-1, 6-3 win against Naomi Hagi (McNeese) and sophomore Maria Tsironi downed Sammie Schouten (UNA) 6-2, 6-2.
 
The Bulldogs were only able to secure two wins in doubles – Brook/Starodubtseva defeated Booker/Ristola (UNA) 6-2 and Tsironi/Vigneron outlasted Della Gora/Navarro (ULL) 7-5.
