RUSTON – Louisiana Tech men's and women's basketball will be showcased on Tuesday, Oct. 14 as part of the 2025 Conference USA Basketball Tipoff.

Men's basketball head coach Talvin Hester and guard Kaden Cooper will represent the Bulldogs while women's head coach Brooke Stoehr and guard Paris Bradley will represent the Lady Techsters.

Hester enters his fourth season at the helm, having recently guided the 'Dogs to a 20-win season.  Cooper returns after being a primary starter for LA Tech last season, averaging 9.3 points while also leading the Bulldogs in rebounds and steals.

Stoehr is going into her 10th year as head coach of the Lady Techsters, looking to carry over the momentum from the team's postseason run to the WNIT Great 8.  One of those key returners is Bradley, the reigning CUSA Freshman of the Year, who averaged a team-high 14.4 points per game.

The show will be hosted by ESPN's Matt Warner, while Kelly Deyo and Paul Nazigian will serve as the show's analysts.  CUSA Commissioner Judy MacLeod, as well as head coaches and players from each program will be on hand to preview the upcoming 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons.

The CUSA Basketball Tipoff show will air on Oct. 14 starting at Noon CT on ESPN+.

Both the Bulldogs and Lady Techsters open the 2025-26 season on Nov. 4.  The 2026 CUSA Basketball Championships will return to Huntsville, Alabama on March 10-14.
