RUSTON | Louisiana Tech Athletics announced Friday the launch of The Next Shot, a program that gives high school photographers and videographers the chance to earn a sideline credential for Bulldog football at Origin Bank Field at Joe Aillet Stadium.
Students will enter a lottery for each of Tech's final three home games against Old Dominion, Southern Miss, and Arkansas State. Selected students will work alongside Louisiana Tech Athletics creative staff in a job-shadow role.
To register for the lottery, visit LATechSports.com/thenextshot.
"Our students are the heartbeat of what we do and how we operate," said Kyle Kavanaugh, Senior Associate AD for External Affairs and Chief Brand Officer. "We lean on them every day. We trust them, and they deliver. Most people in this business don't come in with all the answers, and they aren't always ready for the role right away. You get better by doing, by getting your reps in, and in order to get those reps, someone has to give you an opportunity. We believe that extends beyond our walls. There are plenty of talented, creative people out there just looking for a chance. We say recruit everyone, every day, and we mean it. Sometimes that starts with handing a kid a credential."
