HARAHAN, La. - No. 7 Louisiana Tech finishes day one of the Colonial Classic in first place with 4,856 pins and a perfect 5-0 record in baker match play.Â
The Bulldogs recorded a 5-0 record at Colonial Lanes in Harahan, one of two teams to make it unscathed through day one. Louisiana Tech put together a 1,051 score in baker match three, the second highest of the entire field. LA Tech compiled an average of 194.2 score per game, the highest of all 14 teams.
11 of the games played by the Bulldogs scored over 200 pins, topping out at 259 in match two against #20 UAB. Against the Blazers, Louisiana Tech dominated, winning by nearly 200 pins.
