RUSTON – Louisiana Tech softball is set for its final road trip of the regular season as the Bulldogs travel to Lynchburg, Virginia, to face Liberty in a three-game Conference USA series that is set to begin on Friday. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.

Series History: Liberty Leads, 11-0
This will be the 12th, 13th and 14th all-time meetings between the Bulldogs and Flames, with Liberty holding an 11-0 advantage in the series. The two teams met five times last season, including three regular-season games in Ruston and two more in the 2025 Conference USA Tournament. The Bulldogs and Flames went 10 innings in their second tournament matchup, with Liberty earning a 2-1 win.
ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech moved to 23-23 (9-12 Conference USA) after dropping two of three to Sam Houston last weekend. The Bulldogs dropped game one 6-1 and game two 7-4 before earning a 6-3 victory in the series finale. Tech recorded six extra base hits in the win after collecting just one during the first two games.
Bradi Gallaway hit her 11th home run of the season, a two-run shot, in the win against the Bearkats and now holds the LA Tech single-season record for most home runs by a freshman. She finished with three RBI after adding a sacrifice fly earlier in the game. Gallaway is tied for the team lead with 41 RBI, leads the team with 28 runs and ranks third with 44 hits.
The Bulldogs used three arms in the victory over Sam Houston as
Ruby Fidge (3-2) earned the win in relief after tossing 3.0 innings and allowing one run on three hits.
Allie Floyd pitched the first three frames, allowing one run and one hit, while
Bryannah Campos tossed the final inning.
Allie Furr paces the team in hits with 54 followed by
Elena Heng with 51.
Reagan Marchant and Gallaway are tied for the team lead in RBI with 41 while Marchant leads the team with 15 home runs.
Jina Baffuto recorded two doubles against Sam Houston and is up to 17 hits this season along with 13 RBI through 46 games.
Gracie Flores continues to swing a hot bat as the redshirt sophomore has matched her jersey number with 27 hits to pair with .386 batting average and 10 RBI.
Floyd leads the team with 9 wins in the circle along with a team-high 130.2 innings pitched and 97 strikeouts.
Laney Johnson sits at 6-4 through 74.0 innings while Campos has five wins across 63.1 innings.

Liberty sits at 23-23 overall and 15-6 in CUSA play. The Flames are 9-12 at home, 12-6 on the road and 2-5 at neutral sites. The Flames took down No. 13 Virginia Tech 10-9 on Wednesday night after taking two of three from FIU in Miami this past weekend.
Offensively, the Flames are batting .276 as a team with 36 home runs and 190 RBI. Liberty is led by Alexia Carrasquillo, who is batting .331 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI. Ella Fox follows at .318 with 47 hits and 32 runs scored.
In the circle, Camden Anders anchors the pitching staff with an 11-4 record and a 3.07 ERA over 95.2 innings pitched, holding opponents to a .247 batting average with a team-high 57 strikeouts. Gabby Mike has logged the most innings (86.2) and has fanned 51 batters with two wins. Overall, Liberty's staff holds a 4.59 ERA with 205 earned runs allowed across 297.1 innings.
