RUSTON – William Estes was named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday afternoon.
 
Estes is a senior majoring in Political Science, Spanish and Sociology with a 3.91 GPA. A four time CUSA Academic Medalist and four time CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll, Estes was also named CSC Academic All-District in 2025. This is Estes second time being named to the CUSA All-Academic Team.
 
The Ruston native competed in six events this season, winning the Clyde Hart Classic at Baylor in March. To close the season, Estes threw back to back PR's in the ULM Warhawk Classic and CUSA Outdoor Championships, throwing 57.92m in Murfreesboro to close out his collegiate career. Estes won bronze at the CUSA Outdoor Championship in 2024.
