Mobile Tickets: Tap to Enter
LA Tech uses contactless NFC ticketing. Your phone communicates directly with the ticket reader when you tap at the gate.
No barcode? That may be normal.
Once your ticket is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, it may not display a barcode. Your ticket is still ready to use. Open it in your mobile wallet and tap your phone on the contactless reader at the gate.
Add to Your Wallet
Before leaving home, add each ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Do not rely on a screenshot.
Open the Correct Ticket
At the gate, open your mobile wallet and select the ticket for the correct event.
Tap Your Phone
Hold the top of your phone near the contactless reader and keep it steady until entry is confirmed.
Screenshots cannot be used for NFC entry. If your ticket will not tap, ask the gate attendant for assistance.
Transferring Tickets
Send tickets before gameday so everyone in your group can enter smoothly.
If your group will enter separately, each guest should have their own ticket on their own phone before arriving.
Gameday Ticket Help
If something changes on event day, use these steps before heading to a ticket window.
Ticket Will Not Tap
Work through these quick checks:
- Open the ticket in your wallet. Use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet—not a screenshot or browser window.
- Check the event. Make sure the ticket shown is for the game you are entering.
- Position your phone correctly. Hold the top of the phone near the contactless reader and keep it steady.
- Android users: Confirm NFC is turned on in your phone settings.
- Still not working? Ask the gate attendant for help.

Students add the LA Tech Student Access Pass to their mobile wallet once and use it throughout the school year.
