HEALTH & SAFETY
The Louisiana Tech Athletics Department, in conjunction with Conference USA, will implement a number of measures this basketball season to help make sure your experience in the Thomas Assembly Center is as healthy and safe as possible.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________
ARENA CAPACITY
As mandated by Conference USA, the seating capacity of the Thomas Assembly Center for the 2020-21 basketball season will be limited to 15% which allows for 1,200 fans (the TAC has a maximum capacity of 8,000). All season tickets holders for the Bulldogs and Lady Techsters will be able to fit comfortably within this limited capacity. Fans will be socially-distanced amongst the lower bowl (red seats) and a handful of sections in the upper bowl (blue seats). Included in this limited capacity is the allowance of 250 students per game. For students, tickets must be claimed through "Experience."
Mobile Student Ticketing
Fans will NOT be allowed on Karl Malone Court at anytime this season as court access will be restricted to student-athletes, coaches, trainers, managers, officials and game management staff. This includes courtside seating which has been removed out of an abundance of caution through the C-USA mandate. However, LTAC pregame hospitality will still take place in the Waggonner Room one hour prior to tipoff. The LTAC office will follow up with more details.
Season tickets are currently on sale through the LA Tech Ticket Office. Fans can call (318) 257-3631 or go online at LATechSports.com/tickets. The renewal deadline for basketball season tickets has been pushed back to Dec. 1 to accommodate fans wishing to make their ticket purchases before the seasons begin.

INGRESS OPERATIONS
Lines: All arena entrance points will have adequate line-queues to filter and control fans' path into the Thomas Assembly Center with signage and floor decals requiring fans to maintain physical distance (6 feet) while waiting in line. Fans will not be able to access the arena through the north tunnel entrance.
Tickets: All tickets will be mobile/digital to limit the contact between event staff and the fans entering the arena. No free entry will be allowed after halftime without a ticket in order to control capacity numbers.
Mobile Ticketing Instructions
Masks: All fans and patrons attending the game will be required to wear a face covering upon entering the Thomas Assembly Center as this complies with the State of Louisiana Mask mandate. The order requires face coverings for everyone ages 8 and older except for anyone who has a medical condition that prevents the wearing of a face covering.
Clear Bags: Clear bags will be required at Louisiana Tech basketball games for the 2020-21 season. Just like with football home games, this is another effort to provide expedited entrance to our facilities and help with social distancing efforts. Clear bags can be purchased through the Louisiana Tech bookstore by clicking HERE to get your Tech-branded bag today.
Â
Check-In Procedures: All working-staff members on gameday will be required to check-in by going through our mandated COVID-19 questionnaire and getting his/her temperature checked upon arrival. Once cleared,
the staff member will receive a wristband which identifies that he/she has been safely cleared for work that day and can proceed with operations through the facility. If a staff member fails the check-in protocols even after a cooling-off period, that person will be sent home and not allowed to work that day.

A number of traditional gameday experiences will be significantly changed or eliminated for this season per C-USA protocols.
Â

Spirit Squads: Home bands will not be allowed to participate. Home cheer and dance teams will be allowed in a designated section in the stands, but not on the court (will be positioned in Section 109 that was previously occupied by the band).
Parking: Parking passes will be mobile/digital and will be loaded onto the same application where fans can access their mobile/digital tickets. You can also print your digital parking pass off before coming to the arena if you wish.
