A native of Clayton, Georgia, Katie enters her second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Louisiana Tech baseball team.

Katie graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 with a degree in athletic training where she worked with UGA’s football, baseball, and track & field teams. After graduating, Katie completed an internship as a certified athletic trainer with the Washington State University women’s swim team.

While at Louisiana Tech, Katie will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in administration of sports and physical activity.

Katie is a certified and licensed athletic trainer in the state of Louisiana and also maintains certification as a basic EMT as well as CPR/AED and first aid. Katie is also a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.
