Allen Massey is entering his third year as a graduate manager for the Louisiana Tech Men's Basketball program, working primarily as the director for scouting and video.
 
Massey came to Louisiana Tech from Drake University where he was a student manager for the men's basketball program for four years, helping with administrative tasks, on-court workouts, statistical breakdowns and film breakdowns as head manager.  He served under four head coaches during his four years -- Ray Giacolleti, Jeff Rutter, Niko Medved and Darien Devries -- and was part of the 2018-19 season that saw Drake win the Missouri Valley Conference championship.

He also worked all four years for both the Drake men’s and women’s basketball camps and in 2018 was the director of the men’s basketball camps.

As a student at Drake, Massey was on the Dean’s List while earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing.

He is currently pursuing his master’s degree at LA Tech in Business Administration.
 
Massey is a native of Galesburg, Illinois. He is the son of Evan and Amy Massey and comes from a coaching family.  Both Massey’s grandfather (W.F.Massey) and father (Evan Massey) have been inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame.
