Biography

2017-18: Made 20 starts at center before deciding to end his basketball playing career due to heart-related health issues ... Totaled 81 points for an average of 4.1 per game ... Also averaged 4.2 rebounds per game and 1.3 blocks per game ... Recorded 26 blocks, second most on the team, with nine games of multiple rejections ... Finished career with 124 blocks, fifth most in program history ... Posted a season-high five blocks against Stephen F. Austin (12/6) ... Tied his career-high in scoring with 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting versus Louisiana-Lafayette (12/12) ... Registered a season-high nine rebounds at WKU (12/28).  

2016-17: 
Was the backup center in all 33 games ... Averaged 4.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game ... Shot a team-best 59 percent from the field (50-85) ... Recorded 71 blocks despite only averaging 17.2 minutes per game ... Total blocks tied for ninth most in a single season in program history ... Average of 2.2 rejections per game ranked second in league and 33rd in the country ... Had a stretch of multiple blocks in 14 straight games ... Recorded a career-high 11 boards against Oklahoma Baptist (11/23) ... Had a near double-double versus Florida Atlantic (2/16), scoring a career-high 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting to go along with nine rebounds ... Had a career-high seven blocks at North Texas (2/23) ... Tied his career high with 10 points in regular season finale versus Southern Miss (3/3). 

2015-16: 
Played in four games, including three starts, before being sideline for the remainder of the season due to a medical issue ... Averaged 4.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game ... Totaled eight rejections in limited play ... First action of the season came at Grambling State (11/21), posting four points and four rebounds ... Got first career start at Ohio State (11/24), pulling down a season-high seven boards in the upset win over the Buckeyes ... Scored season-high eight points and notched season-high four blocks versus NC Central (11/27) ... Had seven points in 27 minutes of action at Memphis (12/1) which was his final game of the season.  

2014-15: 
Saw action in 26 games ... Finished with third most blocks on the year with 19 ... Posted three blocks in his Bulldog debut at Southern (11/14) ... Matched the three blocks again versus Nicholls State (12/18) ... Had breakout performance against FIU (2/14) by recording season highs with six points on 3-of-3 shooting and five rebounds ... Key contributor again versus UTEP (2/26) with four boards and three rejections. 

High School:
 Lettered for Madison Central but played for Grenada HS and coach Jaworski Rankin his senior year ... Three-star recruit per Rivals and ESPN ... Ranked 37th best center in the nation by ESPN ... Rated third best player in the state of Mississippi by the Mississippi Hoop Report ... Rated second best player in Mississippi by ESPN ... Was named to the Clarion Ledger's "Dandy Dozen" which names the 12 best players state-wide ... Led the Chargers to the Mississippi 6A title game where he had 15 points and 17 rebounds in the five-point loss ... Posted one of his six triple-doubles (13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks) on the year in the upset win over Provine in the semifinals ... Earned first team all-state honors while averaging 14.6 points, 12.9 rebounds and 6.5 blocks per game ... Shot 61 percent from the field and had three games with at least 20 boards and seven games with at least 10 rejections ... Participated in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Classic where he swatted away five balls ... Earned all-state and all-district honors after averaging 11 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocks as a junior ... Helped lead the Jaguars to a 25-9 record and the class 6A state championship ... Registered 14 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks in the finals ... Played AAU for the Jackson Tigers.
