Former Mars Hill and Iowa Western outfielder Camryn Sterling begins her collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant with the Louisiana Tech softball program.
Sterling joins the Bulldogs after completing a four-year collegiate playing career, spending two seasons at Iowa Western Community College before playing her final two seasons at Mars Hill University.
During her two seasons at Mars Hill, Sterling contributed in the outfield for the Lions and capped her career in 2026 by appearing in 38 games with 34 starts. She also excelled academically, earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors following her senior season.
Before transferring to Mars Hill, Sterling spent two seasons at Iowa Western, helping the Reivers capture the 2024 ICCAC Region 11 and Central District championships and advance to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.
Sterling was also a two-time NJCAA All-Academic selection at Iowa Western, earning first-team honors as a freshman and third-team recognition as a sophomore.
