    Assistant Coach
Chelsea Stewart enters her second season as an assistant coach after serving one year as a graduate assistant for the Lady Techsters.  Kevin Sherry and Stewart have ties dating back to their time at Graceland University as Stewart played four years for Tech's head coach.

In 2009, with Stewart's help, Tech recorded a school record 12 wins (12-7-1) including their first conference win and broke six team and 13 individual records.  Tech recorded the most goals, assists and points in a single season.  In match play, the Lady Techsters set new single-game records in goals, assists and points.

For the Lady Yellowjackets at Graceland, she played center defense and helped the team to its first undefeated season in the school's history at a record of 18-0-5.  She also captained the squad to the 2004-05 NAIA Final Four.  Stewart was selected for numerous NAIA Academic All-American awards, the 2004 Champions of Character Award and recognized several times by the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Upon graduating from Graceland, Stewart spent two years teaching English as a second language at Nomen Global Language Centers.  She then served a year and a half mission in Peru for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from May 2006-December 2007.

Stewart graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in political science with minors in English literature, international studies, peace studies and Spanish.  Currently, she is working on her master's degree in counseling and guidance at Tech.

Recently, she earned her United States Soccer Federation "D" coaching license.

In December 2008, the former Chelsea Woodger married Blair Stewart of Walnut Creek, Calif.  They had their first child, Adelaide Clair Stewart, on Aug. 20, 2010.
