One of Louisiana Tech's most respected soccer letter winners, Kat McCullough, returns for her third season on the sideline as part of Kevin Sherry's coaching staff.

McCullough lettered four years for the Lady Techsters as the four-time Academic All-WAC performer was an instrumental part of building the Tech soccer program into a winner.

McCullough ended her career at Tech in 2009, finishing her career having played in 68 matches with 38 points on 12 goals and 14 assists.

She played three years under Sherry as the Techsters finished with records of 10-5-5 and 12-7-1, respectively, in her junior and senior seasons.  During her senior year, she was a member of a Lady Techster team that broke six team and 13 individual school records.

After the 2011 season, McCullough was selected to serve as a U.S. Youth Olympic Development coach for the Louisiana U15 girls team.

She graduated from Louisiana Tech with a bachelor's degree in business and completed her master's degree in business administration at Tech in February of 2011.  She has a United States Soccer Federation "E" coaching license.

Prior to arriving in Ruston, McCullough was a four-year standout at Coppell High School in Coppell, Tetxas.  She also played for the Solar Soccer Club for two seasons.
