A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Kayla Wincko enters her first year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working primarily with the Louisiana Tech women's soccer and bowling teams.

Prior to her time at Tech, Kayla completed her undergraduate studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2017 where she worked with the baseball, men's basketball, cross country, and softball teams while also competing for Sailfish women’s soccer. She also worked with the Florida Atlantic University football team during the 2016 season.

Kayla is currently pursuing her master's degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports administration.

Kayla is CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association, SASTM certified, and a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association.
