From Carmichael, California, Emi Calvo enters her first year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working primarily with the Louisiana Tech women's soccer.

Prior to her time at Tech, Calvo completed her undergraduate studies at California State University - Sacramento in 2019 where she worked with the Women’s Soccer and Los Rios Community Colleges. She also worked with the American River College football team during the 2015-2017 seasons as well as USA Club Soccer and Davis Legacy Soccer.

Calvo is currently pursuing her master's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in sports performance. She is EMR and CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association, and a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association.
