Played and started in 33 games ... Totaled a team-high 543 points for a scoring average of 16.5 points per game ... Registered the most double-digit scoring games on the squad with 28, leading the team in scoring 15 times ... Posted a team-best 10 20+ scoring performances ... Had a team-high 17 double-doubles (most by a Bulldog since Paul Millsap in 2005-06), most in C-USA and 10th most in the country ... Shot 53.9 percent from the field, second best in the league and top 50 in the nation ... Won a gold medal with USA Basketball at the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup in Latvia ... Anchored Team USA in scoring with an average of 13.1 points per game, tied for the most by a USA player in the last three U19 World Cups ... Scored 14+ points in five of the seven games ... Led Team USA and all of the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup in field goal percentage at 64.9 percent (highest by a USA player since 2013) ... Became just the third USA player (and the first since 1987) to average at least 13 points, five rebounds and shoot at least 60 percent from the field in a U19 World Cup ... Had a team-high 16 points and seven rebounds in semifinal win over Canada ... Recorded 16 points (15 coming in the second half) and seven rebounds in the finals win against France.

2020-21:
Saw action in all 32 games, including 28 starts ... Made first collegiate start in fifth game of the season versus Southeastern Louisiana (12/9) and started every game the rest of the year ... Totaled a team-high 387 points for a scoring average of 12.1 points per game ... Registered the most double-digit scoring games on the squad with 22, leading the team in scoring nine times ... Posted a team-best five 20+ scoring performances ... Had a team-high nine double-doubles, ranking second in C-USA and 27th in the country ... Ranked second on the team in field goal percentage (56.5%) ... Led team in free throws made (93) and free throws attempted (156) ... The total FTs attempted ranked second in C-USA and 19th in the nation ... First double-double came in third game of the season versus ULM (12/3) with 10 points and 10 rebounds ... Became fifth Bulldog in program history to lead team in scoring and rebounding as a freshman (first since Paul Millsap in 2003-04) ... His 241 total rebounds ranked 25th in the country ... PRIOR TO LA TECH: As a senior, led Port Arthur High School to 29 wins and a share of the 21-5A district title ... Rated as the third best senior in the Greater Houston area by RCS Sports and the 19th best senior in the state of Texas by Texas Basketball Review ... Averaged 17 points per game while shooting 64 percent from the field and 33 percent from beyond the arc ... Also averaged 10 rebounds and three assists, racking up 13 double-doubles ... Earned several postseason awards including All-Greater Houston Third Team, District Offensive Player of the Year, TABC 5A All-Region and 5A All-State ... As a junior, averaged 15 points and 12 boards per contest ... Named 5A First Team All-District and 5A All-Region ... Was member of the 2018 Texas 5A state champions.
