SHREVEPORT, La. ? Centenary hit three solo home runs to down Louisiana Tech 3-1 Thursday night at Centenary Complex.

The Lady Techsters (14-16) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning on a throwing error by the Ladies. With one out, freshman Regan Clark singled to center field. One out later, freshman Brittany Welch walked as Clark advanced to second base.

Senior Leah Beasley followed with an infield single and Clark scored on a throwing error by Centenary shortstop Amy Wiedeman.

Centenary tied the game in the bottom half of the second inning on a solo home run by outfielder Micah Rhodes, her second of the season.

The game remained tied 1-1 until the bottom of the sixth inning when pinch hitter Jennifer Mango led the frame off with a solo home run to left field, giving the Ladies a 2-1 lead. Two outs later, third baseman Megan Hall belted a home run over the left field wall for the final run of the contest.

Clark led Tech offensively with two hits while Rochelle Sandberg and Beasley each added one hit. Amber Miles registered her 10th stolen base of the season for the Techsters.

Senior Lindsey Meadows (10-11) picked up the loss, allowing three earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out six in a complete game effort.

Jessica Ivins (7-4) earned the win for Centenary, allowing only the one unearned run on four hits and three walks.
