Boxscore
RENO ? Two errors and a passed ball cost Louisiana Tech Saturday as the Lady Techsters fell 5-4 to Nevada at Idlewild Park.
With the loss, Tech finished the regular season 18-29 and in sixth place in the Western Athletic Conference with a 6-11 league mark heading into next week?s inaugural conference tournament in Fresno.
Tech jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first as freshman Danielle Sheridan hit a solo home run, her second in as many days.
The Techsters upped the advantage to 4-0 in the top of the second inning, plating three runs on two hits. Christine Echols led the frame off with a walk and then scored on a run scoring double by junior Ashley Cameron.

Nevada cut the lead to 4-2 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the second on two hits and one Techster error. The Wolf Pack tied the game at 4-4 in the fourth with two runs on two hits and another Louisiana Tech miscue.
The game remained tied until the bottom of the seventh inning when the game winning run scored on a passed ball with two outs.
