Q & A with Sidney Stewart

Q: What is one thing about yourself that most people don?t know.

A: I love to ice skate


Q: Why did you decide to sign with Louisiana Tech?

A: I came to the Fresno State game my junior year in high school and loved it!


Q: In your opinion, what does it mean to be a Lady Techster?

A: Hardwork, dedication, and a good attitude


Q: What has been the hardest transition to college so far?

A: Having to study everyday


Q: As a player, what is your no. 1 goal for yourself this year?

A: To improve my defense and my speed


Q: If you could have dinner with any three people in history, who would they be?

A: Albert Einstein, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln


Q: In pickup games this summer, which one of your teammates do you think is the toughest to guard?

A: Jo Sneed because she is so strong


Q: What was your most memorable moment playing high school basketball?

A: We beat North Little Rock (the defending state champions) by 18 points in overtime in the state semifinals and they were ranked 21st in the nation.


Q: How would you describe yourself?

A: I like to have fun and love new challenges


Q: What is your best subject in school?

A: Algebra and anatomy


Q: What jersey number will you wear this year and why?

A: 10. I?ve worn it since I was four years old when I started playing softball.


Q: What is the strongest aspect of your game?

A: Driving to my left


Q: What would your dream job be and why?

A: An international pilot because you get to travel for free


Q: If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to take with you?

A: food, water and a computer with internet


Q: What sporting event would you like to see in person before you die?

A: NBA Finals
