Tech Student-Athletes Earn Degrees
RUSTON ? Fifteen Louisiana Tech student-athletes earned degrees during summer commencement exercises held Thursday at the Thomas Assembly Center.
Nine of Louisiana Tech?s Athletic programs were represented at the commencement exercises led by the Tech women?s track and field team with four graduates.
Louisiana Tech Bulldog offensive lineman Ryan Considine was the lone student-athlete earning a master?s degree as he completed his work towards a master?s of business administration.
Those Louisiana Tech student-athletes earning degrees were Miriam Barnes (women?s track), Brandi Castle (bowling), Considine (football), Marcus Elliott (men?s basketball), Melvin Ellis (football), Kristen Fairbanks (volleyball), Brenda-Grace Hunt (women?s track), Sophia Jackson (women?s track), Marquis McBeath (football), Trey McDowell (men?s basketball), Trey McNeill (golf), Amber Metoyer (women?s basketball), Jason Morgan (men?s track and field), Carly White (softball) and Latonia Wilson (women?s track).
