RUSTON ? Louisiana Tech head coach Jean Hall released the Bulldogs 2007-08 golf schedule Wednesday which includes five fall tournaments, including the Louisiana Tech Squire Creek Invitational.

The Bulldogs fall slate features some tournaments against some of the top programs in the country, including the season opener in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the Scenic City Invitational hosted by UT-Chattanooga Sept. 10 and 11.

?This is probably the best schedule our team has ever had in that we play on some outstanding courses against some outstanding competition,? Hall said. ?Our first tournament in Chattanooga will be at Council Fire which will also host the 2008 NCAA Regional Tournament. The field for that tournament will include LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and several other schools ranked in the top 50.

?We will also play in Las Vegas in the fall which will give us the opportunity to face some of our conference competitors as well as other west coast programs.?

Louisiana Tech will also host the Squire Creek Intercollegiate Golf Classic Oct. 15 and 16 in a tournament that will include LSU.

?The field for our tournament is incredible,? Hall said. ?We will host such teams as LSU, Ole Miss, Nevada and Nebraska.

?Overall, our schedule is great. It will allow us to compete against some of the best teams in America. Our team should be ready for some great competition and should be excited about our schedule.?
