RUSTON - Two-time Kodak All-American Teresa Weatherspoon will be the featured guest speaker at the annual Louisiana Tech Lady Techster Banquet which will be held Friday, April 11.

The banquet, which will be sponsored by Bank of Ruston, First National Bank and ALTEC Environmental, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Louisiana Tech Student Center.

Weatherspoon returns to her alma mater for the event after a stellar WNBA career that spanned almost a decade with the New York Liberty and Los Angeles Sparks. She was Tech's last Wade Trophy winner in 1988, the season she led Louisiana Tech to its last national championship title.

In addition to Weatherspoon's address, Louisiana Tech head coach Chris Long will hand out awards while recognizing this year's senior class of Nastassja Levingston, Jo Sneed and April Williams.
