RUSTON - Louisiana Tech released the 2008 women's tennis schedule for the upcoming fall season Friday morning which includes three tournaments and one away match.

"The fall schedule is a good format for us to see where our players stand individually and see what we need to work on to be ready for spring," Tech head coach Quintin Yray said. "We have three tournaments and one away match, each against very different competition which will give each player a good bit of experience before going into the spring."

Tech opens with the Stephen F. Austin Tournament in Nacogdoches, Texas, Sept. 19-20. Tech will travel to Lafayette five days later for the Louisiana- Lafayette Tournament Sept. 25-27.

In October, Tech will pay a visit to cross-town foe, Grambling on Oct. 19 before ending the fall season in Tyler, Texas with the UT- Tyler Tournament Oct. 31 through Nov. 1.

The Techster's spring schedule is still tentative and will be released soon.
