RUSTON -- Season tickets for the upcoming LA Tech baseball season are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 318-257-3631, at the Tech Ticket Office or by emailing Techtickets@latech.edu.

"I really like how close our players are this year," Tech head coach Wade Simoneaux said. "We are more of a team this year than we were last season. I am really looking forward to seeing us compete in the spring."

The Bulldogs will open the season Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. versus Grambling State at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. Eastern Michigan, a 2008 NCAA Tournament regional participant will visit Ruston to play the Bulldogs March 6-8.

A four game series against 2008 National Champion and Western Athletic Conference Champion Fresno State highlights the Bulldogs home schedule. Nevada and New Mexico State round out Tech's home conference schedule.

This year, fans have three options when they purchase season tickets, including dugout seats, chairback seats or families can purchase a bench seat.

Season tickets start as low as $130 a ticket. Dugout seats are available for only $7.50 a game. Families can purchase a Family Pack Bench Seat, which includes two adult and three children's tickets for just over one dollar per person per game.

Several fun and exciting promotions have been planned for the Bulldogs home schedule, including Faculty & Staff Appreciation & Black History Weekend, Ladies Weekend, Kids Appreciation Weekend and much more.

2008 Bulldog baseball season ticket holders should receive a 2009 baseball season ticket brochure in the mail. Brochures will mailed beginning Tuesday, Jan. 13.
