LA Tech Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

The Diamond ‘Dogs are slated for 31 of their 56 games at the Love Shack in the upcoming baseball season.

RUSTON – Louisiana Tech baseball announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season Thursday afternoon.
 
The Diamond 'Dogs open the season with a five-game homestand at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park, highlighted by a four-game set against Houston Christian (2/13-15) and a midweek contest with McNeese (2/18).
 
The Bulldogs' contest with the Cowboys in Ruston is the first of a home-and-home series with the second game scheduled for April 21 in Lake Charles.
 
Tech then heads to Memphis to face the Ohio State Buckeyes on February 20 before playing a pair of Saturday games against the Memphis Tigers and the Buckeyes to close out the weekend.
 
A six-game return to Ruston follows, including a weekend series with Southern Miss (2/27-3/1) and a two-game midweek against Arkansas State (3/3-4). Non-conference play also features road trips to South Alabama (3/6-8) and LSU (3/24), along with home-and-home matchups versus ULM (3/31, 4/28) and three meetings against Northwestern State (2/24, 4/7, 4/28).
 
The Bulldogs also host Lamar (3/10) for a midweek contest at The Love Shack.
 
Conference USA play begins at home against Delaware (3/13-15), marking the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Additional home series include Middle Tennessee (4/10-12), Missouri State (4/24-26), and Sam Houston (5/14-16), while road trips feature New Mexico State (3/20-22), FIU (4/2-4), Dallas Baptist (5/1-3) and Liberty (5/8-10).
 
The regular season concludes with Sam Houston in Ruston before the Bulldogs head to Dallas, Texas, for the Conference USA Championship as they chase their fourth league title since 2021.
