2009 Radio Schedule
RUSTON -- The Louisiana Tech Radio Network released their 2009 radio schedule on Thursday and a total of 37 games will be broadcast live on one of two stations owned by The Radio Center.
ESPN 97.7 FM, a 50,000-watt station, will once again serve as the flagship station of Bulldog baseball. A total of 31 games, including three doubleheaders against Western Athletic Conference opponents Nevada (Apr. 4), San Jose State (Apr. 11) and Fresno State (Apr. 18) can be heard on the station.
KPCH 99.3 FM (25,000-watts) will broadcast six games, including one doubleheader on May 14 at 1 p.m. when the Bulldogs face WAC foe New Mexico State at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
The first broadcast of the season can be heard on ESPN 97.7 Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. when the Bulldogs travel to face Northwestern State. The Ruston station will also carry Tech's non-conference contests between three 2008 NCAA Tournament regional participants: Eastern Michigan (Mar. 7-8), Southern Miss (Mar. 13-15) and Dallas Baptist (Mar. 26-28). WAC contests between the Bulldogs and Sacramento State, Hawaii and New Mexico State can be heard on the station as well.
KPCH 99.3 will carry their first game of the season Apr. 9 at 4:00 p.m. when the Bulldogs head to San Jose to face the San Jose State Spartans. The station will also broadcast the second game of the series against the Spartans (Apr. 10) and two of the four games when the Bulldogs play at Sacramento State (Apr. 24 and Apr. 27).
All 31 games will also be streamed live over the internet on either ESPN 97.7 (www.espn977.com) or KPCH (www.thepeach993.com).
