After sailing through the non-conference schedule without a loss, Louisiana Tech will try to build upon its school-record 11 wins with the start of WAC play on Friday as they host Idaho at 4 p.m.
Tech will then host Boise State on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Lady Techster Soccer Complex.
A Look at Tech (11-0-1): LA Tech head coach Kevin Sherry is 96-48-21 overall in his ninth year. At Louisiana Tech, Sherry is 23-19-7 in his third season. Tech's 49 goals scored lead the NCAA and are outscoring their opponents 49-6. Rachael King is leading the NCAA in goals scored with 12. Tech is coming off a 2-1 win over Houston Baptist, a victory that gave them a school-record 11 wins. The Lady Techsters are winless in WAC openers going 0-3-1. Idaho and Tech have tied the last three meetings. Tech is 0-22-6 in WAC play.
Scouting Idaho (7-4-0): The Vandals are coming off two wins last week against South Dakota and Weber State. UI is off to its best start in school history. Their defense has been stifling, allowing one goal or less in 10 straight games including three shutouts. Last season the two teams tied 0-0 at Idaho.
Scouting Boise State (5-3-4): The Broncos are unbeaten in their last seven games going 3-0-4. They are 1-2 on the road and are led by Shannon Saxton's five goals. Liz Ruiz and Jennifer Burns split time in goal and have a combined seven goals against with three shutouts. Last season, Tech and Boise State tied 2-2 in Boise. The Broncos are coming off a 1-0 win over Gonzaga.

Record Ties
Offensive output has been the story for Tech the whole season. Going into conference play, they have already tied the single-season records for goals (49), assists (40) and points (138). All three records were set last season.
Still Unbeaten
Tech is one of six teams in NCAA Division I that are unbeaten this season. Others include Dayton, Michigan State, North Carolina, South Carolina and Stanford.
You'll Get Nothing and Like it
Goalkeeper Cat Buchanan has recorded a school-record six shutouts for the season. It breaks the previous record of five set last season by Buchanan.
Sharing
Kiva Gresham has already surpassed Olivia Lukasewich for the most assists in a single season. Her six assists broke Lukasewich's record of five last season.
Coming Up
Tech takes a trip to California for a game at San Jose State on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. CST and at Fresno State on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. CST. The Lady Techsters are at home the following weekend as they face Hawaii and New Mexico State.
