RUSTON--Seven Tech student-athletes from five different sports received their degrees this past weekend as fall quarter graduates.
Surrounded by family and friends, the seven newly-anointed college graduates included Chris Keagle (football), Ryan Robertson (Golf), Danielle Sheridan (softball), D'Anthony Smith (football), Deron Trotter (Track & Field), Amberly Waits (softball) and Kevin Winn (baseball).
Keagle, Trotter and Winn all graduated with Bachelor of Science Kinesiology and Health Promotion degrees while Robertson, Sheridan and Waits all earned Bachelor of Science degrees as Robertson majored in finance, Sheridan majored in geography and Waits' major was marketing. Smith was the only student-athlete to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree after majoring in psychology.
In addition to these graduates, Tech had 32 student-athletes record a perfect 4.0 GPA for the fall quarter.
